🔎 Discovery

I’ll start by getting an idea of your business, what you offer, and to whom. We’ll talk about your objectives, what you need to achieve, integration requirements and business goals. We can discuss any design aspects, functionality and timescales.

This information will allow me to identify the appropriate time-frame for your project and agree a start date.

✏️ Preparation

Next, we’ll plan the sitemap of your new website together, taking into account the journey of your ideal customer and relevant keywords you need to rank for. This gives us the best foundation for success and helps identify the copy you’ll need to write.

I’ll let you know everything that’s required to get started without delay, and I’ll check in to make sure you have everything you need to provide it to us.

🎨 Design

On the agreed start date, I’ll kick off your project using the sitemap, copy and images that have been prepared.

I’ll get to work producing design mockups – based on our discussions – to highlight how the frontend of your website will look and work.

At the end of this stage, you’ll have the opportunity to feed back on any changes you’d like to make.

🖥 Development

Once we have the design direction finalised, I’ll begin developing your new website using the open-source WordPress CMS.

My websites are fully client editable using a simple block based editor, which I will configure to fit your workflow for managing content quickly and easily.

This is the most exciting part. Once this process is complete, you’ll receive a link to view a working version of your new website, ready for any feedback.

👍 Review

I’ll allow you time to review the first draft of your website and compile your comments, ready for us to discuss.

I’ll put a plan together for implementing any changes required and provide costs & timeframes if any additional scope is required.

For content-heavy or eCommerce sites, I’ll also provide you with access to the admin area of the development site, so that you can get started adding your content or products.

🚀 Launch

Once your new website is ready, I’ll provide you with a launch date and get to work preparing all the techie bits to make it happen.

Should there be any issues, I’ll be available for 30 days after this date to address and implement any fixes required.

I’ll also discuss ongoing support and your plans for the future.
